the rest of the summer birthdays

sam had a good birthday, along with a party with friends.

i celebrated my last birthday in the 20's. yep, next year i'll be 30!

jeffrey requested birthday pie again this year.

recap of elliot's birthday

we celebrated elliot's birthday on his birthday. he asked jeffrey to make him an angry birds cake. i love jeffrey's creations.

a few weeks later we had a birthday party for him. it was such a blast.

they created legos that could roll on wheels.

then we raced them down a paper track. it was so simple, but so much fun!

we followed the tradition of jeff's family and did a piñata.

we ended with a death star cake. see the blast coming out of the death star? it tasted good too.

i'm so glad elliot has so many good friends. they made it such a great party.

i love this picture of calder. he's so darling to me, even when he is exhausted, which he is in this picture.



i cannot believe he will be 1 in 12 days. that is so crazy to me. where has the year gone?! i can happily say though that i have thoroughly enjoyed this past year. i have loved being calder's mom. he makes it easy. i'm so excited for the many more years to come. i am so blessed and i thank my Heavenly Father for my 3 dear kids. life is good. i just have to remind myself that, especially after a crazy day :)
