pictures i love, of boys i love

i haven't blogged in a quite a while.  with facebook it's just so easy to upload pictures that i don't get around to blogging much anymore.  but there is something nice about blogging that gives me a satisfaction that facebook doesn't.  do you know what i mean?

here are some pictures i love to look at lately.

some days life (the emotion side of it) is really hard.  i hate how with depression, one day can make your entire life look so bleak.  then when i'm not down i look at pictures like these and wonder how i could possibly ever think that my life isn't great.  i guess that is just how life is though.  i'm glad that we take pictures to remember the good times.

one funny thing i've noticed though is i'll look through pictures of an event and we look so happy and yet i think back and remember how half of the time i was getting after my kids for doing this or that that they weren't supposed to, or feeling so frustrated i wanted to scream, or arguing with jeffrey and then feeling bad about it later.  so even though these pictures make life look "perfect",  please know that we have a lot of grumpy times inbetween all the good times too.

i have a friend who blogs and her blog is so honest.  i love it because it helps me know that i am normal, that my life is good despite the hard, that others cry, feel lonely, and feel helpless sometimes too.  so thank you to my friend.

Love the pics! Your boys are so gorgeous! We are all there together...enjoying the good times and trying to survive the rough times.

wish we could be closer still! thanks for keeping it real! that's the first thing that I remember about you when I first started visiting teaching you all those years ago. you definitely helped me be a better person and mom, and to like me for me. thanks!

That is what I love about blogging and fb too. It makes the craziness of life seem normal- because it is! It would be really hard for me to get out of the house as much as I did when we were neighbors & hung out everyday, but the internet keeps me connected and not feeling alone. How did our moms do it?! your boys are so cute!
